It had to be done says theBrother. Disrespecting our leader, Corey. Unacceptable! In this post theBrother reads the note he is sending to the powers that be in that organization: Greetings Corporate person, It has come to my attention, via the weekly Internet transmission of the 5150 program of 25 June, in the year of the Christian Lord and Savior 2019, the fact one distant member of my clan lineage was mistreated at one of your hotels in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area of the USA. (I invite you to hear from the wronged person, who is the main host of the program, Corey Holcomb.) The program is archived on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERDwQe_juE8 As an aside, note that folks of my clan lineage “…don’t want to be wrong or wronged.” This is concerning to me as it seems the incident, as reported by my lineage Brother, has serious racial over/undertones. The most upsetting aspect of the incident as related by Mr. Holcomb was uttered by a positioned person representing your company. The person belligerently stated something about the rule being enforced was his rule. Is that allowed? The matter is a warning for me as I am travelling extensively throughout the States in the coming months. I start my journey from a rural area here in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, taking a bus to Cape Town, and flying out to New York on my 70th Life-day on this earth. As an elder man, an American Descendant of –chattel- Slavery (ADOS), I am keenly sensitive to injustice. Understand, I am also a devotee of Mr. Neely Fuller, Jr who has defined the term justice for my ADOS reality as “The guarantee no one is mistreated; and those who need help get the most constructive help possible.” The Christian version of the first part of that paraphrased quote would be, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I bring all this up as there is an Inaugural ADOS Conference in Louisville, Kentucky at the beginning of October. After the conference I may want to stay a few days after for follow-up purposes. The Major question I have for you as a representative of the Best Westin chain of places to stay when one is away from ones good treatment at one’s home… The main concern is: Will I be mistreated like my Brother Corey? You can be honest as I am certain there are other places that do not mistreat people in the Louisville area.
